Polyus gold output rises 15% to 770,000 ounces in July–September
MOSCOW, Oct 28 (PRIME) -- Russia’s Polyus gold production grew by 15% on the quarter to 770,000 ounces in July–September, the company said in a statement on Thursday.
Sales revenue rose by 12% to U.S. $1.383 billion, while the average price stood at $1,787 per ounce, falling by 2%, the company said quoting preliminary data. Sales increased by 14% to 776,000 ounces.
Net debt decreased by 18% to $1.95 billion as of September 30.
Polyus plans to produce around 2.7 million ounces of gold in 2021, the company said.
